I owe two credit cards money. I've tried everything but I can't seem to pay envelope them anymore. My lover racked up the bills before she took stale on me. I owe about $4000 on one and give or take a few $1000 on another. I can't afford the Monthly payments. What should I do? I don't want to just stop paying on them. I do own a job but newly can't afford the amount they want. Is there any hope?

hello, i have pretty desperate story, anyway, my father before he moved out USA got profoundly of credit cards and spend them all out buying lots of staff (laptops, TV, iPods, gold ingots diamond, jewelery and many more) I'd read out about $10000-$20000. WE used to live at matching apartment, and he bought some staff for me for my friends (of course we had a deal) we used to enjoy same insurance policy, buy air tickets from his credit cards for me and tons more..Right now, I am worried something like one thing, when they start collections and investigations could they possibly bring in me responsible for his debts too? Will I possible face any problems? What can I do to protect myself? I am going to stay here lastingly and he's not coming back.
